In just three short months and following a face to face visit on his front porch with his best friend...Jesus...the songs began to flow… and Steve Regan takes no credit...He says " the songs are simply a gift from God" and Steve has now committed himself to spending his remaining days sharing his front porch story and these incredible, life changing messages in song with others. Word has quickly spread through the Piedmont region of North Carolina and the invitations to speak and perform have followed. Steve joined forces recently with of three of areas top musicians and formed the band “One Road Home”. Band members Buddy Lomax, Tim Ervin, Gray Fallin and Steve Regan are already playing churches, youth venues and recently performed with Nashville based 33 Miles before a sold out crowd at the acclaimed Get Revived Youth Rally. www.get-revived.com “God is moving and He’s moving at “Light” speed”. Life does not get any better then this”. Tim Ervin Along with his music, Steve is sharing his life changing “front porch” story, “God Has a New Song for Your Life” at numerous speaking venues and has begun working on a book; “Living Proof”…God has a new song for your life. The band recently spent four months in the recording studio working on their first CD titled “One Road Home” to be released September 15, 2009. Coming from a 30 year career building and managing artist, designers and celebrities, Steve plans to promote and market the first CD in house and use this as a learning experience. He will also most likely handle publishing in house. “My first priority would be to engage a solid management company who like R&W, know the business and have the relationships. But being a new comer to the industry, we may elect to build it ourselves given the typical time for a start up like One Road Home. I’m discussing our next steps with my good friends at William Morris in NY and with an R&W board member, Rick French of FW&V Public Relations. We’re not the best fit for WMA but after hearing only one song, expressed enough interest to listen to the completed CD. WMA might be able to help us get some national exposure on shows like Mike Huckabee on Fox. And Rick can get us the interviews with the Radio, TV and Print Pubs. We are considering having Rick’s firm represent us for PR”. Charles Lomax has been a central player in the selection of band members. Before landing in Wesley Memorial UMC in High Point and focused only on playing Christian music, Charles spent much of his life traveling with bands playing Las Vegas, Monte Carlo and opening for the Gatlin’s, Steely Dan and other. “After Steve invited me to listen to the songs, I knew this would be the most important project I’d ever been a part of. I am convinced that no person I know in the industry could have written and arranged anything this good. It’s just not possible. These songs must be gifts from God Himself, and sent to someone who does not read music and had not set at his piano for 25 years, that’s impossible..but not for God. These songs are Grammy and Dove Award quality and as Steve often says, God get’s all the credit”. Charles “Buddy” Lomax. Buddy began immediately visiting and interviewing the best studios around and was introduced to Gray Fallin, co-owner and engineer of Woodleaf Studio’s in Salisbury, North Carolina. “There is no doubt that we made the right choice in Gray’s studio. He was the very best person for this project”. (Buddy Lomax) Gray Fallin said “I was so taken by the music, which I often refer to Steve’s writing as Paul McCartney genius, I joined the band as their drummer and back up vocalist. That says it all. Look for “miraculous” things from One Road Home.
