Steve Regan is the founding member of the
Contemporary Christian Music Band “One Road Home”, formed in Spring
2009. The band was formed as a project to develop and record the
songs Regan began writing in October 2008. His plans were to get the
songs recorded by the best musicians and in a “best of class” studio
and market the music to publishing companies and artist in the
Contemporary Christian Music Industry.
After being introduced to musician and
recording artist Buddy Lomax; Lomax, a music industry veteran, began
the search for musicians and studio. Lomax encouraged retired base
player and vocalist, Tim Ervin to give Regan’s songs a listen.
Ervin’s response was positive and immediate and committed his
energies to the project. Lomax, Ervin and Regan then spent a few
months arranging and developing the music. Following an accidental
(but God planned) meeting with Lomax friend and musician Joe Gminder,
Regan, Lomax and Ervin were then introduced to Gray Fallin, an
accomplished musician (of many instruments), recording artist and
founder of Woodleaf Studio’s. Fallin agreed to take on the project
and after four months of recording and many invitations to perform,
Fallin officially joined the “One Road Home” band as their drummer
and back up vocalist.
The music and the bands course has now taken a
different road as “One Road Home” now perform the songs and their
life changing messages where ever they are called. The band is
currently planning their next steps to partner with a top
entertainment industry management team to assist in the development
of the project. |

Responding to the encouragement
of many, Regan recently began working on his first book which is a
personal account of his front porch story and other life changing
events he documents. His book is the culmination of a lifetime of
experiences and the development of a portfolio of events derived
from his speaking, teaching and study of God’s word. Regan
constantly is quoted saying “God has a new song for each and every
child of His. He is simply waiting with an incredible dose of His
love, forgiveness and power to be released to His children as they
draw closer to Him, give Him everything and then discover the
incredible life changing song He has awaiting each one of us…His
promised gift is given…a new song for your life. Your life will
never be the same again”. His book will be titled “Living Proof” and
sub-titled “God Has a New Song for Your life”.
Regan has spent his entire
business career of 35 years in varied industry start ups, build ups
and reorganizations. He currently serves as President of Regan &
Williams Group, a brand licensing and marketing company. His past
and present projects and client list includes the PGA TOUR, Designer
and HGTV Star of Dear Genevieve and Design Star…Genevieve Gorder,
Univision and Telemudo TV Host and Celebrity Chef Lorena Garcia,
John Wayne Enterprises, Ernest Hemingway, Artist and Designer Dick
Idol, Cabana Joe’s, Artist Nancy Thomas, Duck’s Unlimited, Wild
Wings/Cabela’s and Terry Redlin. His projects have also involved the
public and private label brand development with retailers Wal-Mart,
Belk Department Stores, Shopko, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Bass Pro,
Cabela’s and others. Steve’s vision for recognizing and building
brands has lead to his involvement in marketing and licensing four
of the industry’s most successful branded programs to date. He has
been a lifelong member of Beck’s Reformed Church in Lexington, NC
where he does lay speaking, teaching and bible studies. He serves as
a director on a number of boards including at Nazareth Children’s
Home, Davidson County Community College and RWG Licensing. Regan and
his wife Andrea have recently founded a non-profit charity “One Hope
Foundation” whose focus is to support the 100 plus children at
Nazareth Children’s Home and the Christian Youth Event held
annually, Get Revived. “One Hope Foundation” will be the recipient
of the majority of all revenue from publishing of Regan’s music and
book sales. He has been married for 35 years to Andrea McCombs Regan
of Faith, NC.
Credits and Covenant: Following
an October 2008 face to face visit on his front porch with his best
friend...Jesus...Regan’s music career was launched. It was unplanned
and unexpected as the songs began to flow… and Regan takes no
credit...”The songs are gifts from God. I had nothing to do with it.
When He told me He wanted everything, all of me; I said you got it
and he knew that for the first time in my life, I meant it. God took
someone that does not read music and had not played the piano in 20
years and started sending these incredible life changing messages
through songs”. Regan has now committed himself to spending his
remaining days sharing his front porch story and these incredible,
life changing messages in song with others. He gives special credit
to his wife Andrea, his children Josh, Jordan (Richard Tyler who God
called to heaven) and daughter in law Kristie, friends and band
members Tim, Buddy, Gray, Pastor Jerry Sanders, Dr. & Pastor Rick
Warren and his wife Kay (we continue praying for you Kay), Dr. Henry
Blackaby, Dr. Charles Stanley and his best friend Jesus for the
incredible influence each one has had on his life and His work.

GRAY FALLIN
Gray Fallin has been a performing musician of various styles
(Rock, Pop, Jazz, Symphonic, etc.) for over 30 years. As a
drummer, he counts his major influences as legendary studio
percussionist, Steve Gadd,.. Jazz drummer, Peter Erskine,.. Bill
Bruford of Yes, King Crimson and his own jazz endeavors… Neil
Peart of Rush,.. Stewart Copeland of The Police,.. Phil Collins
of Genesis,..& of course, the great Ringo Starr.
After establishing himself as a drummer with local pop and rock
bands, Gray began pursuing his passion for jazz in the mid 1990s
as a founding member of The Brubakers. The Brubakers have
existed as a band for over 13 years (as of this bio) and
performed multiple dates with a repertoire of original jazz and
their own arrangements of standards, ballads, and pop. Also
during this time, Gray has performed with the Marc Hoffman
trio/band, which has included great Charlotte NC musicians,..
Terry Peoples, John Shaunessy, and Roger Kohrs on bass,.. Grammy
nominee John Sharp on Guitars,.. and the wonderful saxophonist
Tim Gordon.
Around the time of the formation of The Brubakers, Gray began
having an interest in recording. Having worked with Alex Bost on
the recording and producing of The Brubakers CD’s, and after the
close of Alex’s DAB studios where those CD’s were created, Gray
decided to build his own studio. After 3 years of planning and
building, Woodleaf Music Studios opened in August of 2006. The
initial major project released from the new studio was The
Brubakers 3rd CD, Triple Bypass.
Gray’s career recordings as a drummer include…
With The Brubakers - the all-original jazz CD’s,.. THE
TIME HAS COME (1996), SECOND NATURE (2000), and most recently,
TRIPLE BYPASS (2008). All of these have featured Alex Bost on
Guitars, Rick Almond on Sax, Carlton Jackson on Congas and
Percussion, Eddie Ritch on Keyboards, Joe Gminder on Bass (on
cd’s The Time has Come & Triple Bypass), Roger Kohrs on Bass (on
cd’s The Time has Come & Second Nature), and Mark Holland on
Keyboards (on cd The Time has Come).
With Christian rock band Sector 7 – the all-original
CD’s.. SECTOR-7 (1990), and SPEAK TO ME (1994). This group
consisted of Gray’s fellow Brubaker member, Joe Gminder on Lead
Vocals, and Guitars,.. Mark Jennings on Bass and Background
Vocals,.. and Todd Fallin on Drums and Percussion (on cd
SECTOR-7). Additional to his drumming, Gray contributed
additional keyboards and percussion as well as the writing of
the material on these projects,… most notably the songs
“Destined to Win” and “Lift me Up”.
With Marc Hoffman - the jazz CD.. JAZZ (2007),
which features Tim Gordon on sax, John Sharp on guitar, and
Terry Peoples on bass. The Christmas CD.. CHRISTMAS TIME (2006),
a jazz-flavored CD with original tunes written by Marc Hoffman
and new arrangements of traditional music. And the Christian
CD.. DREAM OF GOD (2003), a collection of original and
traditional Christian songs.
With Junque Gallery - the pop CD.. FUTURE UNKNOWN
(2009), which features Brubaker veteran Rick Almond on sax,
keys, and vocals, Stewart Mauldin on guitar, and Frank Poolos on
keys and vocals. Gray also worked with the band on the
pre-production of their previous CD, the self titled JUNQUE
GALLERY (2008).
And
most recently, with One Road Home – the self titled
contemporary Christian CD.. ONE Road HOME (2009), which
features Steve Regan on keyboards and lead vocals, Buddy Lomax
on guitar and vocals, and Tim Ervin on bass and vocals. The CD
also heavily features Brubaker veterans Alex Bost and Eddie
Ritch on guitars and keys, respectively. Besides providing
drums, Gray also contributed additional background vocals,
background rhythm guitar, and most notably, served as producer
and engineer for this project.

BUDDY LOMAX
Charles “Buddy” Lomax can be credited with being the
inspiration behind songwriter Steve Regan’s mission to “get the songs
down & arranged”. He was also instrumental in formation of the band “One
Road Home” in April 2009. Regan states: “Without Buddy’s determination,
encouragement, and contacts in the music industry, I would most likely
still be writing away and wondering what to do next. Buddy invited Tim
Ervin to come in early on and listen to the songs that God had been
sending me. Now Tim is on bass and vocals, and also assists with
arranging our songs. Buddy also introduced us to Gray Fallin, co-owner,
producer and engineer at Woodleaf Studios. Gray is now our drummer &
percussionist. It is truly amazing how God put all this together!”
Buddy was introduced to the guitar at the relatively belated age of 20
by his late father in law (& Tim Ervin’s father) J.D. Ervin. J.D. took a
special interest in Buddy’s desire to learn the guitar and Buddy’s
passion has continued to grow because he considers himself a
student…..always learning from other artists. His smooth voice married
well with his guitar and took him on a lifelong musical journey with
numerous bands, performing from Las Vegas to Monte Carlo.
Buddy is most proud of his newest mission – spending the remainder of
his life focused on a music ministry to the glory of his Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. His pledge is to go wherever he is called to perform with
the band “One Road Home”
He credits his late mother and father with providing an early foundation
in Christ that has lead him home to a close, loving, and personal
relationship with God. “Buddy has a good heart. After 40 years of being
family, it is amazing to become his partner in One Road Home. Calling
him my friend, well, that’s just fantastic” --- Tim Ervin

TIM ERVIN
Tim Ervin had the good fortune to be born into a poor
but loving, religious, talented family. His Grandparents were charter
members of the local Baptist Church, his Dad was choir director and an
accomplished bluegrass/gospel musician. Tim learned guitar from his dad
at age 10, recording his first album at age 14, and performing
regionally with several local rock bands throughout high school. Growing
up with an older brother’s piano playing and great tenor voice, sister’s
bright soprano, mother’s perfect alto, and father’s rich bass, it was
only natural to develop a talent for creating harmonies that could be
perfected by the right blend of voices and some hard work.
Ervin has spent much of his life working with his hands as a self
employed carpenter/contractor and farmer. Along the way he found his
soulmate and wife of 34 years, Pamela Warstler Ervin. Together, they
have worked through the balance of God, family, and earning a living.
Music took a holiday for 37 years in favor of raising children,
grand-children and pursuing a career. That early talent for music and
love for God have now been combined and rekindled as he has renewed his
excitement for performing with a very dedicated group of musicians. Tim
credits his Mother and Father, wife Pam, daughter Nicole, sons Eric &
Adam, and five grandchildren for giving him the inspiration to lead by
example. As Ervin says, “There is no better feeling than having my
family in the audience watching and listening as we play and sing God’s
praises.”
Tim has served as choir member and trustee at Ursinus United Church of
Christ over a 33 year period. He was a charter member of the East Rowan
YMCA, serving on the building committee & the board of directors. Tim
and Pam are currently members of Providence Methodist Church, where they
enjoy a fellowship with God, friends and neighbors. Tim says “I feel
very blessed to be a part of this music ministry and I thank God every
day for placing me with three other individuals that I trust, admire,
and enjoy performing with. What a wonderful place to be at this time of
life!”
